FACIAL TRAUMA
Face & jaw fractures need structured assessment.
Facial trauma can involve the jaw, cheekbone, midface and surrounding structures. Imaging and clinical examination guide management.
FACIAL TRAUMA
Problems we assess
✓Mandibular fractures
✓Midface and facial fractures
✓Zygomatic/cheekbone injuries
✓Complex facial trauma
✓Post-trauma bite and jaw function concerns

3D TRAUMA IMAGING
Understand the fracture in three dimensions.
CBCT can provide detailed bony anatomy in selected maxillofacial trauma cases. Imaging is interpreted together with the clinical examination.
URGENT CARE
After a facial injury
Severe bleeding, breathing difficulty, loss of consciousness, major eye symptoms or other life-threatening concerns require emergency medical care first. For a stable facial injury, specialist assessment should not be delayed when there is significant pain, swelling, altered bite or difficulty opening the mouth.
